So much for my having a quiet April: Doveman has added Aaron Dessner and Bryan Devendorf to the line-up of the first Burgundy Stain Session of 2012. NYC-area fans of The National: heads up. Every time I’ve seen a favorite artist of mine performing with Doveman as part of this residency, it has been terrific — musicians show up to hang out onstage with Thomas, and songs happen, and you get to watch.
